I was drying some clothes and it just stop, could it be heater coil,

First check to make sure you have 120v to each side of the connection block. Then unplug the machine and check continuity on the thermal fuse/thermostats. Finally check the door switch and the heating coil.

The large screw that holds down the heating element also holds a clip that keeps the fuse (thermal limit top right) on the side of the heater chamber. If that blower wheel gets loose or their is a lint buildup then that fuse will blow and kill the dryer.
