My dishwasher will not do anything but run the cancel cycle. It pops up 2 minutes on the screen and no other buttons work. I can cancel that or hit the cancel button again and re-start the cancel cycle for 2 minutes. Nothing else works at all. I though maybe it was in lock-out mode but if I hold the cancel button down it cycles on-off-on-off. It won't stay down.

Any help would be appreciated. It is not the control panel that is broken. I am thinking the control board is shorted out.

What will happen if you just start any cycle? Does it make any noise? What it shows on the display? Does it fill up with water?

I get absolutely nothing. No response whatsoever. That would be the issue. The only thing that works is Cancel.

Moist likely the problem is a bad control panel but there is a small chance for the control board to be bad as well. I would replace the control panel first, hoping it would solve the problem. If you need the correct part number for the control panel then post the color of it.

i had ordered a new control panel, tried it out, and it did not work. I guess control board is the next step.

I am having the same problem with the same model. What was the root cause of the problem and how did you repair it?

What was the replacement part number? Was it the electronic control assembly?
