I bought a house a couple of months ago and the frige that came with is not defrosting now. I did a similar repair on a frigidaire and it was the defrost timer but the hotpoint is totaly different. Any ideas on witch part it might be? I have a home warrenty but if the part is cheaper than my deductible ($75) than I would like to fix it myself. Thanks for any help!

It might be the main control board, the defrost thermostat, the defrost heater or the freezer thermistor. - Here are the break down diagrams for the Hotpoint refrigerator Model HSS22IFMBCCGene.
