I did the self diagnosis on my frig as the frig side is just not cold enough.
What came of it was #7 (Frig defrost Error) #13 (Freezer Defrost Error) and 14 (PLC Error Power line Communication)
Did the Load Operation Check Function and this is what came of it #4 (strt mode) 8 (compressor) 9 (freezer fan high) 12(condenser fan high) 14 (dispenser-heater).

What is this telling me?

Thanks,

Sorry for the delay. I was out of town.

Looks like you installed the new main board improperly. The installation instructions requires cutting a jumper wire if the jumper wire was present. It says in the step 2 of the installation instructions: "Eliminate thermistor wire in pin 2 of J1 connector." The serial number of your refrigerator is listed in the instructions.

I have this model and the freezer is working fine, but refrigerator is too warm, even though at coldest setting (9). A few days ago the refrigerator temp seemed to recover, but is too warm again. A year ago the motherboard was replaced. There is no frost in the back of the freezer and there is cool air flowing into the refrig from the freezer. Any ideas before I call the repairman?

I read entire thread with great interest as I have a 3-year old Samsung RS2630SH that has some ice buildup in the freezer part, but at least it's cooling. Refridgirator side is warm, and no air is coming out of the vents.
It appears that there are many things that can cause this, I'm wondering if anyone has any pointers on where to start? I'm probably too stupid, but Gene's first post left me dead on my tracks as I can't seem to locate the defrost timer to complete the first step.
I dowloaded SAM0096.PDF, but it didn't have any information reagarding defrost timer in it.
Many thanks in advance!

P.S. When I search for RS2630SH, I get results for Maytag fridge under the same model. Is it the same fridge, just rebadged for Samsung?

I don't have a thermometer to check, but ice and popsicles are frozen.

Gene,
Is the defrost normally part of the sealed system and cabinet liner warranty?
