I have a whirlpool washer Model LSR 823F approx. 14 years old I have trouble with the timer -- clock. I have to jiggle it, or move it, or hold it in in order for the washer to work.... What is the proble floryan@embarqmail.com

Clean and check the contacts and if that does not fix things, I suggest replacing the timer.
