I have a Tappan Electric range. The broiler stopped working and then a month later the oven stopped working. Is that the electronic oven control failure or is there something else wrong?

Could be the electronic control/clock.
But also could be that the broil element burned out and now the bake element also burned out.
Or the temperature sensor though usually they will generate an error code.

More info would be helpful.
Does the control look/operate like normal?
Does the unit stay in preheat or does the oven show it is ready?

I would unplug the unit and check the broil element for continuity with a meter.
If open then I would pull the bake element and check it.

It is very important that the unit be unplugged or the breaker flipped off when working on it.
