When I start my dryer the ignitor comes on then goes out. 1 min later it tries again. I have checked my gas connections and gas is on. I have replaced the ignitor and the gas valve coils and its still doing the same thing.

monitor the voltage to the gas valve coils with a meter i do think you should here i click i think when it activates, also some ignitors still are bad even tho they appear to be red. they may not be hot enough.

What should the voltage be at the Gas coil? Do I test the main and secondary? I do not remember ever hearing the coil click.

The voltage at the gas valve on a furnace is 24 volt ac, however gas valve on a dryer i am unsure just check it to see if you have voltage there. i would think it would be a solenoid and should click when engaged. check for voltage open the circuit check the ohms. Just see what you got most cases its all or none. Is there a step down transformer or possible 120v i dont know but check it first. if voltage is not present follow lines back to a relay or switch, im just a tvtech but you have a simple circuit there. the valve may even be labeled as 120 volt or something. The gas solenoid is probably just 2 wire coil that opens the gas valve. so the ohm will be low just make sure its not open and make sure you have some voltage present there to open it and listen for a click. that's about all i can tell you hope it helps. i hope this helps.

I checked the voltage at the gas coil and when it calls for the valve to open I am getting 120V. Seems like that is functioning properly.

if you have power there gas valve should open period.
you have already made diagnosis of a bad valve however just for the heck of it you can shut power off and measure resistance of the coil it should be low ohm reading also you can monitor current with a clamp on amp meter. if ohms are good and amp reading is showing current possibly valve is stuck try tapping on it, but i would just replace.

I am looking for the valve part to replace. I tried taping on valve and no help. I am definetly leaning towards a stuck valve.
