![]() Model Number: 58714439202 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years
![]() Does not drain. Hose is clear, as is path to check valve within the washer (all interior components removed/inspected). What are the functions of the relay and the switch, could they be the problem? The switch tests fine - it is activated by a float. Washing function seem to work fine, I assume the motor/pump (one unit on this model) is not getting the signal to drain the water OR that part of the motor/pump has failed. Related Models |

No buzzing, could be a hum or silent. Ran the rinse only cycle w/ no heat dry - it make lots of noise while rising then pretty quiet after that. Any way to test the motor/pump? |

![]() Nope, 3 inches in the bottom.
Sears is out of stock on the motor but I think it is returnable if and when I were to obtain one and that is not the problem. Not sure if there is a way to test the motor. DW has been "uninstalled". |

I would set to just rinse w/ no heat with the unit out of the cabinet. Can you perhaps point me to a schematic to see what wires to the motor do what? I assume white is (+ or -)power and the others get power only during certain phases of the cycle. |

https://www.dropbox.com/s/4ifsjviaox1uwdv/kenmore.jpg I can set to rinse/hold and check all the leads (using white as common) while rinsing and when the power drops from the lead supplying power during rinse check the others. This would assume that power goes to a different lead for draining. |
