LED Lights suddenly stops working

All of the lights on the top this refridgerator and freezer stopped wprking last night. The led lights on the side of the fridge have continued to work this morning. It is keeping temperature and the fridge and freezer. I find it interesting that all of them went out at the same time. Is it a switch, mutliple switch failure, or a control board?

All the lights in the top are on a separate circuit. It comes directly off the main control board. Unless the wires are bad, it is the board. https://www.appliancepartspros.com/whirlpool-cntrl-elec-w11224256-ap6329805.html

Thank you for the reply. Where is this located so I can replace this board? Is there a video about changing this out?

The board is on the back of the refrigerator, and it is under a metal plate. Make sure to unplug the refrigerator and swap it out, easy peasy.

Perfect. Board ordered. Interesting fact just happened … the refrigerator door was closed hard and the lights came back on … so maybe a loose connection or something is going on the board. Any other thoughts?

Check connections around the board, you may be on to something with a loose connection.

Will check … Could also be a stressed out connector/connection on the board. Board still ordered love the electronic return by AppliancePartsPro.com!!! Thanks! Will report out when the board comes what the solution to the problem is.
