How to remove agitator assy

Whirlpool washer LSQ8243HQ0 agitator works but clothes mover (AP3018874) does not. Need to disassemble to see why but don’t know if I need to go in from underside of if there’s a trick to getting agitator assembly apart from top.

Most likely the problem is a worn out agitator dogs (#10 on the diagram). The instructions from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/washer-repair/525-top-agitator-slipping.html and the video clip might help you.
