Having the same problem. Could it be the filter ( needs to be change?)

Very intresting I have the same model and it is 1 month short of being exactly 6 years old and it is doing the exact same thing. The lights come on, the turn table spins and the LCD display works fine. It does have a little louder hum than normal but like eveyone else it will not heat anything (food, water, etc…).
Model number: JVM2070SH002
This microwave has been an issue since we purchased it in 2006. Im having th. this e exact same problem reported byMark1328. The lights come on, turntable spins, LCD works fine, but it started to humm louder and no heat. After reading the other threads in this forum, I see I will be replacing the magnatron…for the second time in 5 years. this will be the last time I buy GE. GRRRR:mad:

[LEFT][COLOR=#000000]Hi, I am having the same issue with my GE microwave, According to what I have read so far, It could be three parts,
1- Magnetron
2- Capacitor
3- High voltage diode.
I have replaced the magnetron ($130.00) it did not fix the problem.
I just ordered the other two parts, Whichever part fixes the problem I will keep and return the ones I don’t need.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck.
