Door latch broken or is there more?

The latch on the door seems to be broken although at this point it will still open with some effort. Pushing up on the latch it appears to go way up before it finds the pressure needed to release and it is very sloppy.

I noted these two items on the site.

Basically the instructions for your dishwasher are almost the same.

I got the latch but after taking the door off it appears I need the control panel as well…
