compressor wiring diagram

I recently had mouse the eat the white wire that goes to the compressor.

There is two red an white that u hook up to give electricity to power the compressor.

A relative took the off the compresor where common start run prongs

he made a mess.

This unit has four prong running capacitor.

i need diagram on how rewire it back up a few of the wire on the capacitor

an overload relay were showing signs of age.

So the wiring diagram would be helpful

I have hooked up other refrigerator compressors fine fine just not one that has this 4 prong running capacitor

thank you

erik

running capacitor

showing their age.

This is a very old refrigerator. The wires from the refrigerator are red and white. The two red wires get shorted together and go to the spade terminal on the coiled start relay, the white wire goes to the round overload, there is no run capacitor. The start relay plugs into the bottom two compressor terminals, the overload plugs into the top terminal.

Is there any wiring diagrams for the compressor.

What is the the black round capacitor.

I need something i can see. I am trying to get a picture in my mind on how the the thing goes together

I saw your compressor parts at the Sears parts site, but it had no schematic.
I did see a start capacitor though. If you have a meter, I can direct you to wire it up.

On the capacitor there should be two red wires then white an blue

On this setup there was wire going to common i think i maybe wrong/

I tried a different relay over load the compress on 10 secs came then shut off

I also took pics of the relay an capacitor.

I will need to edit thesize of the photos they like 3mb each

I remember seeing the white wire which was chewed into pluged on the relay

I have question i assome the coiled wire faces down

`The old compressor terminals where common pin on top , start pin, bottom left and run pin bottom right. The overload wire (the round item) plugs in the top pin, the relay plugs in the bottom two pins. One fridg wire plugs into the overload, the other plugs into the coiled relay. The condensing fan wires are in parallel to the refrigerator wires.

On the relay the bottom of it I see the coiled copper wire.
Does a red wire plug on there.

On the top of relay there is blue from start capacitor going to the relay.

See there was a white wire the one that was broke on top

Would a picture of the relay help

erikk71@aol.com u can email me if u think that be more helpful

I have a white an blue wire on the start capacitor the blue goes to the relay/

the white wire i have going the overload switch going to common.

Next we have the red wires on the start capacitor.

I see only one place on the relay to plugin a wire on the top side.

Seems ok to me, just plug everything in and it should run.

nothing happen

Does the wire on common an overload go back to start capacitorwhere there is red wire

should be two red wire on then blue an white on other side of start capacitor

On the top of relay the spot to plug in a wire where do that wire go

On the bottom of relay do i plug wire in all i i see the copper coil

You probably have a bad component. I would order a new start device, AP4503032 for this, comes with wiring info.

Here is my relay an start capacitor.

I know relay is not rats a wire into thats all

I have red wire red wires on on one side of the start capacitor

I assume one of the red wire is attached to overload that goes to common

The other red wire is made onto the relay the bottom of relay

Next we have the other side of start capacitor that has two prong

the blue coming off the side of the relay next we have a white wire

i see a place to plug wire beside blue wire

next i see a a place to wire on top of relay

The Sears parts site is down right now, check it later for a schematic.

I got a SUPCO Powerstart Relay Capacitator Overload RCO810

it says for 1/12 to 1/3 compressors

I installed the freezer cools but not freezing gets to about 53 degrees

Wait for a few more hours, will take time to reach temperature.

I waited 24 hours could the start capacitor in that supco not be strong enough

Will the part AP4503032 allow me too hook the start capacitor to it

If the freezer temperature cannot go any lower, you have refrigeration problems for a pro to look at, fridg probably not worth extensive repairs.

The part from i mentioned earlier
will it allow for me to hook a start capacitor to it,

The freezer was working fine i just need a relay an overload that will allow to hook up the start capacitor to it
