Harold,
Thanks a lot. Very helpful information.
Gene.
Thanks…dowloaded And Was Able To Run Diagnostic
Harold,
Thank you for the info.
Larry G:)
Now If I could find one for the SHX46 model I would be set.
Huge help. You probably just helped me to save $200! Thanks
This manual helped along with other posts to allow me to remove the control module - locate the burnt connection - and solder/repair the module. Saved ordering a new part and a service visit.
Much Thanks! Greatly appreciated!
BTW, shame on Bosch for not owning up more to what is a poor design for the control module.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Have you found the SHX46 guide?

Harold,
I have tried to open the pdf file but I get an error message telling me the file has an error and cannot be repaired. Can you email me a copy? tj@wrighthouse.us
Thx TJ
Thanks for the information on the trouble shooting manual. I’ve been looking for this for a long time. A great help. Thanks again!!!
I was able to download the manual.
Thank you Harold I hope to correct my problem
Bill:)
Thanks so much this really helped me along. Now I know for sure it is my circulator pump. I am sure there is a complete Bosch service manual with exploded view and service guide. I hope I find it one day, I really need with this SHU5312 I have.
Thanks for posting this Harold. Can I ask where you found it? I’m looking for this type of manual for a Bosch SMU 2042 UC dishwasher.
Thanks
I am going to attempt to fix my Bosch dishwasher. Will it be obvious which circuit on the computer board will have to be sodered?
Most common is a heating circuit.
Gene.
Thanks. I am going to attempt now!!!
I could use the SHX 46A if anyone finds it
I was able to solder the burnt circuit board. Thank you for posting the fix. It saved me $$$$$$.
Harold great manual - I am trying to trouble shoot timer on a Bosch SMU 3036 it is not cycling past 3 0’clock (initial wash cycle) - I am told due to the heating element not getting the water hot enough. Already replaced the Timer, 2 High-Level Themostats and Temperature Sensor switch - no change to the wash cycle hang at Wash.
Only thing to change is the Heating element , although it would be nice if I could find a Service Manual for a Bosch SMU 3036 Dishwasher as the one you posted? Where did you find it?
Much appreciated, your other manual is a huge help.
