Both sides stopped cooling. I unplugged and tried replugging 24 hours later with both sides cooling for approx 8 hours then back to not cooling at all. the lights and fans inside are working only blowing hot air.

You might have a hard starting compressor. When it fails, check the compressor in the back to see if it's running.
