compressor warm to touch.Full power to box,ice dispensing sensor flashing,replace main control board.Sounds like compressor trying to energize then goes off seconds later.Main control board has been replaced.Fan motor running.:confused: Is it time to call in the calavary?Whirlpool knows it has a problem with the control boards but will not recall.

Your compressor start device probably bad. If a discrete ptc, a small, plastic, black part order AP3601983, but take a picture of the wiring to it.
If a white box, order AP3962960
