Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/10/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		E1 Code received, ordered new thermistor part number 8577274. Took out old thermistor and it looks nothing like the new part. Part number on the old one is Whirlpool P/N 3976615. Old one mostly plastic, new one mostly metal. Holes don't line up.

Make sure this part number is marked on the new part. Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool dryer Model GEW9200LW0 Gene.
