How do you remove the bottom accumulator under the lower wash arm and over the pump motor? Looks like there is a screen plate that has four screws but only three are accesable as one is under the water supply manifold. There is a bunch of debree in the bottom of the wash tub which has gotton below the accumulator. I am getting no water thru the manifold to the upper wash arm.

Larry,

You have to remove the water feeding tube (#1 on the diagram) first.

You can find more useful information in one of our previous threads: http://forum.appliancepartspros...hirlpool-dishwasher.html

Roatating the manifold did the trick. Noticed more problems on the back of the top rack. The water supply tube to the spray arm was all mashed up and the stem which the spray arm turns was bent. The spray arm actuall could not spin. I think I have a larger problem as I believe the pump may not be working as no water is going into the manifold. Please read my thread on the manifold which I posted yesterday. Hopefuly you can help on that one too-Thanks
