Dryer won't start. What could the problem be? Any ideas on what to look at?

Make sure there is 240 VAC to the dryer. Remove the rear panel and check the thermal fuse (#7 on the diagram) for continuity. If the thermal fuse is open, it has to be replaced together with the cycling and high limit thermostats (#8 & #15). Also you have to clean the dryer vent line and the lint chute (#1). - The thermal fuse Part number: AP3132867
