Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/10/2010(UTC) Posts: 4		The refrig at first when we plugged in didnt turn on except the light. door got slammed,:mad:, and started working great. ran for a few days then seemed to quit working again except for the light. temp was at 60 degrees in compartment. adjusted the temp setting to high was running near 7 but went to 9 to see if it would kick on but nothing. then turned dial to off heard click then turned back on to 8.5. refrig eventually cut back on "no slamming involved,:)" but never got below 50 degrees and kept running.

Be aware, though, that given the age of the appliance, you may also have a leak in the sealed system, causing low, or no freon.
