The freezer drain is in the back of the freezer, far away from the defrost heater and every three months the drain freezes.
Anyone know if there is a fix for this, the drain works fine after defrosting, but the drain area has a lot of styrofoam around it that I am sure is water soaked.

Have you run hot water through the drain to flush out anything that may be caught in there?

Used a turkey baster and pumped a lot of hot water down the drain. The drain is like one foot past the defrost heater with a narrow metal trough going to it with styrofoam all around it.
