Everything "seems" fine - lights and features all work. Here are the symptoms:
- When the system is turned on, it makes a louder humming noise than normal and then it stops heating after about 2 - 3 minutes. The system still continues to run, just no hum and no heating.
- When making popcorn, I noticed that the steam produced stays in the chamber and does not get expelled.
Any suggestions? TIA, Mark

sounds like a bad capacitor/diode.

Would that also explain the lack of venting inside the chamber? Or, do I have a fan problem too?

The steam inside the oven may point to a bad fan. This may be what caused the microwave to malfunction.
