I am getting oil spots on my clothes from the washer on occasion. anyone know the problem that causes this?

Possible this oil is coming from the transmission. If this is correct, then the transmission has ten years limited warranty (you pay for labor). The worst thing is: if it's an intermittent problem then it's hard to diagnose it and GE will do everything possible to refuse it. Make sure it does it continuously before call GE.
