The drum spins when the agitator is working, which throws the water out of the drum when it is in the wash cycle. Could it be the transmission, is there a brake that is hanging up(you can hold the drum from spinning), or any ideas?

Can you spin the spin basket with power off?

I figured it out after a lot of thought, I replaced the brake assembly on the bottom of the unit and it works great. The brake was about $75 and took about 30 min. to replace.:)
