After replacing the bearings and seals in my Neptune washer I discovered that I left out the spacer that looks like a wishbone of sorts. I know there is a reason for this part and have ordered a new seal kit in case I have damaged the seal that I just replaced by leaaving out the spacer. Another problem I am having is the bolt that secures the drum and pulley backs out or loosens after a few loads of wash; additionally there's a distinctive "creaking sound" coming from the pulley as it moves. What is the cause of that? When I bought the bearing kit from an ******** seller, the instructions were very vague especially when it came to the seal - I guess that's why I managed to leave out the spacer during reassembly. There's also a proper way to place the spacer too - something that the instruction sheet did not mention. My machine did have a spacer when I pulled it apart. Removing the old bearings required the use of my high speed air cutoff tool and I made three Youtube videos to show how this is done. My user name on Youtube is "aboonski" in case anybody is interested in watching these short and informative videos on how to "cheat" the bad bearing races out of the machine quickly and easily.
