My GE JB960 convection oven does not heat up properly in Bake. If I select Broil, the heating elements glow bright red. However, if I select bake the heating elements heat up to the touch but with no noticeable glow. In fact, it can't attain 300 degrees with out selecting broil or convection bake first. During the preheat on bake, a double click (sounds like some sort of cycling by a control) can be heard at regular cycles: 15 seconds between double clicks, followed by 70 seconds before the next double click. I have selected 430 as the desired temp. Convection bake was able to bring it up to temp, as was broil. Once at 430, I selected bake. It was unable to hold the temperature.
Any suggestions as to what I need to check/replace?
Thanks in advance!

OK, I think I narrowed it down. The bake controller relay is not working. And since I cannot solder well enough on my own, I guess the whole control board will have to be replaced unless anyone else has any good ideas...
