The washer just keeps filling up and won't stop. I see on several sites where they have a water valve listed but this looks like the part where the water hooks to the machine.

What should I check/How do I fix this?

Thank you for all your help.

If you have to shut the water off to the washer to stop the flood, you have a bad water solenoid in the washer.
