Dryer gets hot but not tumbling ?

Here are your parts Part Details - WHIRLPOOL Motor switch, dryer, part number: AP2975202More info on the problem would be useful. Sounds like your belt is broken. The motor has a centrifugal switch on it. This switch closes when the motor gets close to operating speed. Since you have heat the motor must be running. Could be that there is a switch problem but more likely the above. |
