I am trying to remove the oven control panel off of my Whirlpool stainless steel double oven RBD305PRS00 because the display panel is no longer illuminated. I looked around on here and found the suggestion to check that out. I have taken off the side trim pieces and unscrewed the 2 screws on either side of the control panel. At this point, it doesn't appear to be easy to remove the panel. I don't want to bend the steel. Is there a special trick to removing the panel?
