My reservoir hose on the bottom is spirting water when you pour. Can anyone verify that the only fix is to cut the hose and put on a coupling? I just had sears out, and I don't trust this diagnosis, not to mention sears has a markup on the proposed part of 140% markup (I think - the part is available online for $67 - sears wants $167). The trouble if I do this fix is still there. The problem is where the hose meets the reservior. So if I cut the hose, put on a coupling, wont it still leak from the reservior??
Has anyone else had this problem, and know how to actually fix it?
The proposed part that I looked up online for pricing while the "repairman" was here is: 5303918258 which is an electrolux part for what looks like a washer? Thanks!

I have a frigidaire with the exact same problem! I looked the part up and the # was ps469559 listed as water tank reservoir replacement kit for around $70. I'm planning on fixing it myself by this weekend and I'll let you know what I figure out!

Hey avgjoe, did you fix your hose on the reservoir tank? If so, how did it go? Something you would suggest I do? Thanks in advance!
