How do I get to the lower element since it is beneath the metal liner? Do I have to remove the oven from the wall to get to this or is there a procedure that allows me to remove the liner? Thanks

If you look real carefully, you'll likely see one or two screws holding the liner in place. They're usually next to the back wall inside the oven. If there are none, all you need to do is slide the liner one way or another to come out. Make sure you unp;ug, or throw the breaker, before you attempt to remove/install an element. 120VAC is always going to one of the terminals.

I looked at the liner and if seems as if the back is welded to the sides. I know on some ovens the bottom piece of the liner is not welded to the sides or back of the liner. The parts manual seems to show the liner as one whole unit, sides, bottom, top, and rear as one piece. I wish sears would allow customers to access the disasembly procedures that their techs use. Thanks
