This frost free freezer has NEVER worked correctly. The bottom fills with ice and then water leaks out the door. AMANA was never any help because I didn't
purchase extended warranty. What is the problem, and what is the cure?

You have something blocking the drain. It is located dead center, right under the evaporator. You may need to remove the panel inside the freezer at the back wall to access it. Use a stiff brush or very carefully use a wire, as from a clothes hanger, to clear the obstruction. Pour hot water into it to check it.
