Hello,

I tested what I believe to be the thermal fuse on the top of the long metal tube of my dryer (i was getting no heat and my timer was not working). I set my ohm meter to 200Ω and got a reading of .1 or so. I also tested the lower fuse on the same metal tube and it was 9.2 with the meter set at 200Ω. I am basically looking for the correct fuse to buy and where to buy it. Thanks!

I'm not yet convinced you need one “at least not yet”.
I’m not quite sure why you are getting 9 ohms
that’s about the resistance you would normally see
at the element itself. Are you going directly across
the two terminals of the stat itself?
