I was told that the machine control board was most likely the problem with this machine. The washer does nothing. I try to put the washer in "test" mode and don't get anything to lite up. I was able to make a "jumper" wire to get the door to unlock (by jumping the DUL plug with power). I also got the motor to rotate the tub slowly and got the pump to turn on... doing the same method. Only when I have JP4 unplugged. When it is plugged in, I can't get the motor to rotate or the pump to turn on. It sounds like, to me, that the problems actually could be the machine control board, but how do I test the motor control board to make sure that that isn't really the problem.

Please check your model number and repost, the model number you posted is for a dryer.
