 I just got a used dishwasher from my brother and I hooked everything up and tried to use it but when the water started going in to the washer it started to come out of a white plastic tube that says do not touch check valve. Do I need to replace this peice or is there another problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Did you connect the drain hose to this "white plastic tube"?
What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?

I connected it to a barbed nipple that comes out of the bottom. Was I supposed to connect it to the check valve?
