How much vinegar do I add to the second rinse cycle? My repairman said that would help get dishes clean.

If you have a white film on your glasses I would recommend to use a white vinegar too, but in a different way.
Start the normal cycle without dishes and soap and wait for about 3-5 minutes to let the dishwasher to fill up. Open the door and pour a gallon of a white vinegar in water on the bottom. Do not restart the dishwasher for about 12 hours to let vinegar to dissolve all built ups and then finish the cycle. Repeat this procedure a few more times if needed.
Do the same thing once in a quarter to prevent such problems.
Gene.
