How do I access and remove the ciruclation motor, pump, and impleller on a Bosch SHU6806UC/12 . I suspect a problem with one of them and would like to remove to check/inspect. I have removed the right side cover, and see everything. Do I need to somehow separate the tub from the base?

I came accross this post
http://forum.appliancepartspros...hoto-supposed-there.html
which talks about removing the pump on a SHU3336 UC/12 and even incudes a word document with instructions. Do these instructions also apply to my SHU6806UC/12? It looks similar.

Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Yes, you can use the same instructions. These models are very similar.

Thanks Gene,

It doesn't look like I have as much room to work from the side of the dishwasher as in the instructions. Are you sure I don't have to remove the base? Any one have insturctions for this?

Thanks

It is up to you. It would not do any bad if you remove the base on this side. I do not think you have to remove it completely.

Thanks Gene - I removed two screws from the back, and four from the front. I laid the dw on it's back, and pulled the base away from the tub about 3-4 inches. This gave me enough room to pull off the motor for the circulation pump.
