Anyway the control panel problem was never present before.
There was no problem with the installation, the (two) electrical connections were easily disconnected /reconnected.
The only impact out of the norm to the DW was to lay it on its side to access the bottom.

Forget about previous repair for a few minutes and start the troubleshooting as you'll do for a new separate problem.

Verify the voltage at the wall outlet.

Remove the kick panel and check for 120 VAC at the power cord connection to the dishwasher.

Check for the proper voltage at the door switches (black wire - hot, white wire - neutral) and the door switches them self.

Check for 120 VAC at the thermal fuse (#6 on the diagram) and the thermal fuse for continuity.

Post the results.

I am having the exact same issue. no blinking lights, just a humming noise when it's suppose to be washer. I have the kick panel off, what do you mean by touching the motor i should be able to tell if it's bad

My model number is DU1145XTPB7. in the troubleshoot section of the manual it mentions possibly the wash module has stuck????

Touch the motor to feel if it's vibrating.

when the humming /buzzing noise starts there is vibration. so i'm assuming the motor is fine. would something being stuck cause this noise and malfunction?

Your conclusion is wrong. If the motor is humming while it's not doing any job then the motor is bad and has to be replaced.

Whirlpool Mod # DU1100XTPQ3 Ser # FS1007336. Clean light flashes 7 times then pauses then 7 times repeatedly, When I do the Normal, heated dry 4X it resets then starts a cycle but does not finish a cycle before it is flashing again. also water is standing in the bottom of the dishwasher, have pushed the cancel/ drain button and can hear pump run but water not draining.

The Clean light blinking 7 times in a row means a problem in the heating circuit detected by the electronic control.

This circuit consists of 3 parts: the hi-limit thermostat (#30 at the diagram), the heating element and the control board.

The hi-limit thermostat and the heating element can be tested for continuity. If they are good, the control board has to be replaced.

Part number: 661566

- The heating element Part number: W10134009

Looks like this is the check valve which is made in the drain hose. It is not serviceable and it is important to have it. You have to order the whole drain hose to fix it.
