Brand new maytag side by side has a vibrating compressor. When you get near it, it quits. I assume this is because I am on a crawl space and the extra weight on the floor near the frig causes a shift in the frig's angle slighty?? I can physically move the frig a bit and the noise goes away. It returns however in a little while.
Do I need to tighten the mounting bolts on the compressor? It is a rather annoying noise.
Also, any reviews on this brand of frig? Good or Bad? This is my first Maytag product.
Any advice is appreciated!!

Remove back panel and look for vibrating condenser coils or a compressor mount thats loose. If the noise is internal to the compressor, call for warranty repair.

I have the exact same problem with mine. It is squeezed in the space pretty tightly and I was uncertain if this was contributing to the problem.

Tell us if the vibration is an internal compressor rattle, you just remove back panel and check.
