Washer won't spin, motor is making noise but machine won't turn. Noise stops when the lid is opened. :confused: Belt isn't broken, black dust on the bottom of cabinet and on the floor.

Looks like the transmission stuck. Remove the belt and try to turn the pulley in both directions.
The model number you posted is incorrect. Verify and repost it.
