I have a side by side Whirlpool Refrigerator that is about 8 years old. Everything is working fine except for the Ice Cube Maker. The unit is trying to make ice cubes but the line that feeds the ice cube maker is frozen. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to repair this problem.

Thanks
John

Hi John,

The problem with you ice maker is a bad water inlet valve (on the back of the fridge) which has to be replaced. You can use a hair dryer to defrost the ice maker feeding tube.

- The part number for the water inlet valve is AP3040319

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool refrigerator Model ED25UEXHT00

Gene.
