when tub spins around once every evolution it makes a loud clanking sound and feels like the tub drops alittle each revolution.

Yours is a problem one really has to be there to see. I am assuming this is a basic direct drive machine, so I suggest you take off the cabinet, by pass the lid switch and run it with the cabinet off to see if you can tell what the problem is. Focus on the suspension springs and plate.
