Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/27/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		When it gets cold out my freezer stops freezing. I have the frig in the garage as a second one. During the summer all is good. Once it gets cold out everything defrost. Once the temp gets below like 40 my stuff starts to defrost. If I turn the heat on in the garage it freezes again. As long as the heat is on in the garage all is good, but I don't want to run the heat all winter.... Any thoughts?

Only Frigidaire designed a special heater which can help to use a refrigerator in such environment. I can not guarantee it will work with your refrigerator, but it is inexpensive and you can give it a try.
