I have a Maytag wanna be washer that is actually an Admiral in disguise that will not spin or pump out . When the timer gets to the pump out/ spin section, it makes a few clicks and then nothing. I bypassed the lid switch to no avail and there is no noise coming from the motor or otherwise when it gets to this point. Im thinking that the timer is bad.

If you are certain the motor is not getting power, and the drive pulley will turn easily then it would seem the timer is the problem. Check all of the wiring first between the timer and the motor and clean the contacts on both the timer and the motor. Here is a service manual for your machine. http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16023083.pdf
