I got an auto shut-down. Assumed the problem was the broken door latch, which I replaced.
The unit fills and starts normally but after 3-5 secs. the moter shuts-down. After about 30 secs. it will restart and repeat the shut-down for 3 cycles before comlete shut-down occurs.
I thought it might be a motor overload or start problem but an amp check indicates 6 amps on start and 2 amps while running before shut-down.
What could be causing the moter circuit to drop-out? Since I dont have a wiring diagram I dont even know where to start. Any help will be appreciated,

Could be a water heating problem but strange that you do not get an error indication.

thanks so much for the tech sheet, really helpful
I checked water temp= 135. Question Does the heating element operate during to initial fill cycle? I didn't detect any current, but I have to check futher.

Tech sheet refers to diagnostic cycle to check heater but I can't seem to get the touch pad to respond. Am I missing something? Pls. elaborate. Thanks in advance. Carl:confused:
