Our GE double sided started to get warm on the top shelves, both in the fridge and freezer. The bottom parts on both are cold. Actually in the fridge part the bottom part seems to over cool, so much so that we found veggies with frost on them.
I unplugged it and left it to thaw overnight. There was not a whole lot of water coming out when thawed. The next day we plugged it back on but it still cools only the bottom, getting warmer on the upper levels.
What can I do?

I think so, i am not sure where to look for a fan in the freezer. When I open the door it sounds normal, as usual. I also noticed there is frost on the back wall of the freezer, from the bottom all the way to the 3rd shelf.

Looks like there is a problem with the defrost system. Perform the troubleshooting as described in one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...igerator-too-warm-3.html (reply addressed to bohemian) and post the results.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for GE GSS20IEMDWW | AppliancePartsPros.com
