My door on my Whirlpool DU8OCWDB3 is leaking pretty badly mostly coming from the left side of the door. Since I am a novice any advice as to what part I should be looking at to replace. The seal in the door looks a little flat is that where I should start? Any help would be deeply appreciated

Yes. And make sure it is clean. Food and soap residue can cause the seal to be open at those spots. If it leaks after a good cleaning, you can replace it. Here's the part number. Part number: AP4310431

Yes,
The seal was the problem. I tried to get a new part however, they are out of stock. I took the old seal out and soaked it in warm water with a little dish soap. I rubbed the seal dry and replaced it. I was able to work the seal to cover the entire opening and it worked like a champ. After a couple of uses the seal shrunk again. I have to rework the seal every couple of uses until a new seal becomes available for purchase.
Thank you for your help.
