Hello I hope you can help me.
I have GE Profile PB930SF1SS range. Recently some of the panel lights come on randomly with the system making a few beep sounds. Nothing comes on as far as heating is concerned. After a few seconds they turn back off. Otherwise the cooktop and oven works fine. Any suggestions?

The touchpad and the oven control would need to be checked for any indications of a short. If there is not an indicator, there may likely be an internal issue in the touchpad that's causing this issue.

It seems to have stopped now. "odd" So if it happens again should I wait for something to stop working or should I replace the touchpad if it is a possible DYI project?

Replacing a component while it is in a working state would be a preference decision rather than something that would be a recommendation.
