My GE profile looks to not be filling up to the heating elements. I took the water valve off and cleaned out the mesh little basket. Re tried and it still does the same thing. Before buying a new water valve, what other things that can cause this? I feel like its not going thru its whole cycle either, the lid to the detergent wont open after a while either. If it doesn't fill up will it not run its full cycle?

Thanks in Advance!

Don't know much about the GE dishwashers, but you could have an intermittent water valve. they have a coil that opens its windings when it gets warm. You could have a stuck overfill switch. Its attached to a float in the dishwasher and sometimes they get stuck up. You could have a restriction in the water coming in. Pinched water line or restricted water shutoff.
