My dryer works properly on the timed dry cycle, however it just keeps running on the auto cycles, the dryer does heat up, just stay on.

This is what I have done so far.

I have purchased certified used Timer and Control Board. I tested the timer by removing the black wire on (I think X) and tested continuity between X and T with the knob turned between the Wrinkle care and off and there was continuity.

I removed the cycling thermostat and tested for continuity and it does, I even put it on a skillet around 175-200 degrees and within about 20 seconds the continuity was lost.

I have removed the moisture sensing bars and cleaned them toughly with vinegar

I also took the drum out and tested I both safety switches in the back and they had continuity (just tested at room temp)

After all of this the dryer still will not turn of on the auto cycle. I may not be testing properly, so any input would be helpful.
